Though coaching, mediation, and parent education we can:

  • minimize the adversarial nature of divorce
  • support children through divorce

  • setting boundaries around accommodating special requests

Programs and Packages

Based on my background in family law and family psychology, I have identified three phases of divorce (contemplating, navigating, and recovering) and have developed service programs and packages that move you toward full divorce recovery.

As your empowerment partner, I will help you to understand the divorce process and your choices.  I will equip you with the tools you need to move forward toward your bright future.  Regardless of what stage of divorce you are in, we will move you one step closer to your re-connection with self, independence, and true healing.

Coaching or Mediation? Which path is right for you?

The first step to working together is to decide between coaching or mediation. It really comes down to — are you and your partner working together to move through your divorce or are you working individually with the shared goal of being divorced.

In mediation I work as a neutral 3rd party and together with you and your spouse will create a plan for your legal, emotional and financial aspects of your divorce.

In coaching I work with each spouse individually. In coaching we focus on the individual achieving their legal, emotional and financial goals of divorce. As your coach, I am your empowerment partner and advocate — not a neutral party.

Still not sure? Here is more information about both services.

The Get It Done! Mediation Package

The Get It Done! Mediation package is a complete divorce mediation package for couples who want to proceed with a divorce in a clear, conscious, dignified, private, and less expensive way.

Divorce and family dissolution mediation is a confidential collaborative process which may take place with or without your attorneys. As your mediator, I am a neutral third party who facilitates discussions between you and your spouse or partner to reach agreements based upon your unique individual circumstances.

The Get It Done! Mediation Package requires a $2000 retainer and mediation services are billed at $200 an hour.  The complete mediation typically requires (5) 2-hour sessions and the drafting of an agreement to provide your attorney to review, council you on, and file with the court. If you have minor children, you should estimate an additional 2 hours for discussing and drafting of a parenting plan. Most mediations do not cost more than $2000 in total and any unused retainer is returned to you.

Parenting Mediation and Planning Services

Parenting Coordination for separating and divorcing parents is an innovative cutting-edge service to help families resolve custody disputes.  As your parenting coordinator, I remain objective in my interactions with both parents.  My purpose is mediation and education.

Objectives of the Parenting Coordination Process include creation and implementation of a comprehensive parenting plan regarding parenting time and schedules, decision-making responsibilities, communication and conflict resolution processes. You will be supported in creating a plan that reduces opportunities for conflict between parents, helps maintain a parent’s primary focus on the developmental and psychological needs of the children, fosters the development of  a co-parenting relationship, has in place policies for emergencies, and coordinates the educational, medical, therapeutic, and other professionals involved with the family. In addition to helping you draft your parenting plan, parenting coordination also involves helping parents to disengage by creating an interface between them and aiding parents in decision making when it seems there is no possibility of agreement.

Parenting Mediation Services require payment of a $1000 retainer.  Mediation services are billed at $200 an hour and include preparation for a parenting agreement to provide to your attorney to file with the court.
